Update time... EP Track Listing and More!!!

Whats up peoples?

So first off i understand we pretty much have no excuse to have gone soooo long without an update. Especially if we want you to pay any attention to our band. Mostly the lack of updates has been because we've been cooped up in the studio trying to finish mixing our EP like FOREVER now. Its been the biggest pain. But its sounding sooo amazing! I'm overly excited. We also had 2 or 3 shows cancelled on us do to headlineing bands dropping off over the last 2 months :-( So there hasn't been much excitement to report on. Still pretty lame excuses though huh?

Well good news... we have NEWS!

K so this passed Saturday we played a show in Pittsfield, MA with a band called Hope Lies Within. AWESOME band and really cool dudes. So go check them out http://www.hopelieswithin.com/.

Aaaaaaaand for the big news. Heres the track listing for our EP we've been working so hard on...
Kardia
Self Titled EP
------------------
1.So Much For Love
2.The Fall
3.You're Mine
4.Brand New Day
5.Fidelity Faded
6.The Compromising God You Seek Doesn't Exist

The EP does include both songs from our 2 song demo we released earlier this year. However they've been re-recorded and sound WAY better now. Most of the EP has an upbeat, rocking feel, but there are a few softer mid tempo moments as well in songs like ''You're Mine'' and ''The Fall''. We also got to experiment a little with synths, piano, and creative drum sounds on some songs, including ''So Much For Love'', ''Fidelity Faded'', and ''The Fall''. And our good friend Eric Turner (of Nigh Is the Hour) did a few small guest screaming parts on the EP, on the songs ''So Much For Love'' and ''Brand New Day''. Eric along with his band mates Johnathan Ostrander and Ken Carman also helped us out with gang vocals on a few songs. So a big thank you to them for that!
And finally on ''The Compromising God You Seek Doesn't Exist'' Amanda got to try some things with her voice she didn't know she could do (she yelled at the mic with some rock 'n roll attitude, it was cool), and Jeff got to try a little spoken word. Thats probably an awful description of that song, but you'll see, its cool!

Well i hope i didn't give too much away. But if so, whatever. I hope it gets you pumped to hear the EP. We'll be releasing a new song from the EP VERY VERY soon! So keep posted for that. We'll also have details on a release date and a release show soon.

Thanks for reading. Stay tuned. More to come.
